Community Tasting Notes 4

April 8, 2024 - Floral bouquet with herbs & tobacco, bright red fruit on the palate with more herbs, some chocolate, leather and a faint hint of minerals. Medium body, medium/low acidity & fine tannins that leave a slight chalky feel in the mouth. Finish lingers for about 25-30 seconds.

90 points -- good value Pomerol; ready to drink but can age another few years w/out any challenges.

March 21, 2023 - With aromas of flowers, black cherries, espresso and a hint of blue fruit, the wine is soft, silky, fresh and polished, with ample lift, chocolate and ripe, black cherries with notes of coffee bean on the backend. This is a very strong vintage here. Drink from 2023-2040.

May 20, 2021 - Floral in nature, the wine displays cocoa infused cherries and plums on the nose. Medium-bodied, silky and fresh, there is a nice polish to the tannins and loads of juicy sweet, plums, spice, espresso and chocolate in the finish. You can drink this on release. But it will be even better if you age it for a few years. 91-93

    May 8, 2021 - Very very deep
Ripe, vey dark red/black nose – rounded cherry fruit, some cool dark flowers.

Cool and fresh attack, this has some scale but quite elegant and becomes finer, more savoury and spicy. Grainy/sandy tannins, some green and spice. Savoury yet ripe (fruit seeds) on the finish.
