Some passion fruit exuberance on the palate at the expense of the trademark ginger. Dosage evident (7g/l). Lacking some line, bite and depth for classic Reflets, but in today’s guise, a crowd pleaser that doesn’t scare the horses. ****

December 25, 2022 - Like a caged elephant this one came out swinging. I don't know how they make this magic happen, but I think that solera cuvee really adds some depth to the wine. For those looking for the more generous style, this 2016 dis'g makes for lovely savoury pairings vs. opulence. Restrained as far as I'm concerned for Reflet d'Antan, and I think this will improve for 4-5 more years easily.

August 23, 2022 - Just lovely this evening, enjoyed this final of 4 bottles outside, in the shade, after work.
Stunning purity, brilliant on the palate with lemon zest, green apples, sautéed mushrooms, hazelnuts, white pepper and chalky minerality.
The finish focuses in on savory notes, with waves of flavor, supported by bright acidity and a long and captivating finish.

April 25, 2022 - Wow, first time trying this btling. Expected the depth and complexity from a perpetual reserve and this btl delivers. Dense fruit, hint of bread, slight oxidative notes but balanced with lively acidity and a slight sweetness on the finish. So tasty and yet complex and interesting.
