October 2, 2016 - Medium dark. Fully fleshed out mature Pinot nose. Flavors are long and full. In great shape and should hold for a while longer. Proves that well-made Carneros Pinot can age.

January 4, 2015 - California pinot does not get much better than this '06 reserve. The best wine served at a wine and food pairing dinner at Sugar Bowl and cellared for six years. Rich, generous, approachable, velvet smooth. Gone way too fast.
