October 21, 2023 - Cracking the whip; 10/16/2023-10/23/2023 (Eagan, MN): N: Dark cherries with a distinct funk and earth, like wet moss and mulch.

P: Similar cherries on the palate with a damp and slightly bitter earth. Wet tree bark and something like wet forest floor.

Great lift on this. It had a good amount of freshness to keep things lively.

September 19, 2023 - Coravin'ed back to back with the '17 to shee what's up, and boy what a difference. This is a long term keeper with significant upside and aging potential. Absolutely amazing nose with an entire forest worth of spices and earth but particularly good Santa Cruz whole-cluster resin notes. Finish a bit clamped down right now, but the acid and supple tannin to elevate over time. I'll check next bottle again in 4-5y

July 22, 2023 - One of the best Pinots I’ve had, period. Cherry/dark fruit earthiness is supported by very good acidity. This would outshine many 1er cru burgundies, and at a small fraction of the price. Will be buying more.

    February 19, 2023 - Dag 1:

    Dag 2:
    Holder fint

    Dag 3:
Fin kjerne av rød frukt, litt mørkere i frukten kanskje og litt skogbunn, fortsatt noe grønt a la bladverk eller stilk. En god del pepper. Ingen tydelige oksiderte aromaer. Dette er en god vin.
