  • LMArcher Likes this wine:

June 11, 2021 - Remarkable old vine wine. A noble homage to the mentor of Jean-Paul Mas.
Deep purple robe with redolent garrigue aromas - a riot of thyme, rosemary, lavender, sage, plus a black pepper back note.
On the palate, more wild, gnarled garriguey notes, along with tobacco, black currant, fig, kalamata olive, leather, game, and cypress. A lot going on in one glass.
Weighty, heavily extracted, but supple, with a silky finish.
