December 25, 2014 - 2014 Family Xmas; 12/24/2014-12/25/2014 (Alicante): Superior class here. What a complex Barbera!
Brownish colour for lovely aromas of plums, smoke, violets, leather, flesh meat, forest floor, little of tar, very fresh version.
Palate is a bit tired yet acid and savoury. Quite long aftertaste.
Matching leg of lamb.
De clase superior. ¡Menuda barbera compleja!
De color amarronado con ricos aromas a ciruelas, humo, violetas, cuero, carne fresca, suelo de bosque, un poco de alquitrán, una versión muy fresca.
En boca se muestra un poco cansada aunque ácida y sabrosa. Un postgusto bien largo.
Acompañando una paletilla de cordero. -

January 11, 2014 - Incredible nose full of dark red fruit, opens nicely on the pallet adding spice and leather to the mix. Drank a bottle over two hours at dinner an it kept changing and showing new things through out. Really nice.....but was it at its peak? It was very fine
