  September 3, 2023 - Decanted two hours
  
  Nose of stewed blueberries in the decanter. More of the same after the decant, plus blackberries, plum, alcohol, slight vanilla. A whole chorus line of legs on stage for this show. A dense, medium purple. Syrupy and spicy with the aforementioned berries and oak on the palate. Leather. Bold, full-bodied, smooth and off-dry with soft, silky tannins and medium, spicy acidity on the medium finish. Those tannins become more chewy after another hour. Did not have with food.
  
  Sunday is Wine Day here, and it’s this sort of wine which makes me look forward to Sundays every week.
  
  Served in Riedel Extreme Cabernet glasses, just cuz.
