    March 20, 2022 - in a beautiful drinking window
sweet cherries in the background with soft integrated tannins
others had trouble with this wine
for two us it was the WOTN at S.K.Y.

October 6, 2019 - Delicious when paired with cheese, reviews encouraged drinking now, and at 19 years age it was initially a little thin in the middle, but it just kept getting better the longer the bottle opened. Floral, tasting cherries and relaxed tannins. Excellent. Lots of sediment so need to be decanted / filtered.

August 9, 2017 - Promised much, but this is all emperors new clothes.
Sweaty and Bretty, acetic, and tasting like it is 50 years old.
    Crap wine-making I reckon

December 26, 2016 - Medium light in body, slow strong legs. Bricking a good cm or so into the rim. At the start the nose was smokey bacon crisps, that lessened with air but the smokeiness remained and was more earthy with some ripe cherry fruit.really improves with air and brings out more fruit. There's some tannin remaining which gets a little drying, possibly from wood. Decent cherry fruit and eastern spice flavours on the palate, dried rose petals and some earth. Pretty good but I'm feeling like this will dry out before it really matures fully.

June 22, 2013 - Great barbaresco that got better over the 1.5 it lasted -- this was one of those bottles that was gone before you knew it and we were all looking for the last drop --
