January 11, 2022 - Fully developed, integrated and mellow this wine is now at the peak of its drinking window but will continue to remain there for a good few more years. Soft, mature with perceptible garnet on the rim there were layers of complexity. Still savoury and fresh, there was fruit and spice with a little mocha and chocolate. The balance was spot on and the finish really impressive. A class act. CHP 93 pts

August 26, 2020 - A great Coonawarra Cabernet Sauvignon, so much more interesting than the varietal from the West. Deep red colour with a fairly earthy nose and spicy nose (mushroom, five-spice and some dried raisins). Body was soft, pure cassis with a beautiful fragrance finish. Oak was present but so well integrated and soft tannin structure to round it all off. Complexity off the chart and drink now or 7+ years.

April 8, 2020 - Cellaraid Discovery Box; 5/19/2017-5/26/2021 (Delivered to Home): Deep garnet with fading rim, but thick and heavily extracted. Developed nose, full of dried prune aromas, stewed meat, mint, cinnamon, and a slight mushroom fungal feel. Tannins resolved, while alcohol still strong and heaty while flavours intense, with a somewhat similar stewed and developed profile as the nose. Fairly long finish of cassis and prunes. Great wine!
