  N: Pronounced intensity, developing aromas of smoke, dried berries, black currant, dried cherry, orange peel, mustard seed, pungent, pastrami, balsamic vinegar, VA (nail polish)
  P: Dry, high acid… sour… signs of VA.

  November 4, 2022 - Intense Blackberry - Cassis % Tobacco. Med to firm acidity with chewy firm tannins. Dry wet soil finish - not overly long - nice change from main stream reds

  February 3, 2022 - This is pretty good, but seems to be missing something, compared to iterations from previous vintages....acidity, perhaps, and bass notes; and the finish is shorter than expected. Certainly drinkable though.

  February 2, 2022 - I think this was a gift as I certainly would never try this Varietal on its own, but surprisingly this was different but very good. Deep dark ruby color with long legs big nose of dark sweet fruit. Taste was very earthy with some black licorice. While it does not finish like a cabernet it has some grit to it at the end. Quite enjoyable.
