December 20, 2021 - Plenty of fruit remaining, and only a slight amount of edge bricking color present. Certainly a lighter bodied cab, but hard to believe it is 20 years old. Still a very drinkable table wine.

September 29, 2018 - Bought this in 2003, I think, for $9.99 and held on purpose for 15 years. Opened, decanted/filtered, and then left set for 3 hours. Noticed a brownish hue and a strong raisin flavor. It was obviously past it’s prime but I found it interesting. Tannins had mellowed to nothing. Not great, not bad.

January 22, 2015 - A nice Stags Leap second label, aged like a reserve. It lost its fruit, but was very smooth without a hint of rust. Probably not getting any better.

November 10, 2010 - Drank a 2001 in Nov.2010 as an experiment. Wine held up pretty well and gained some character

February 18, 2008 - Thin in appearance and nose. Light oak and blackberry predominant with beefy tomatoes initially. Virtually no linger on the finish and a wine that is surely near the end of its life. Towards the end I detected a strange white tea on the tongue. Not mad that I purchsed this, but would be kicking myself if I had purchased a case of this.
