September 8, 2022 - Tsaknakis portfolio tasting (Oinsocent): 15 months in 25% new oak
The wine is very fresh, still powerful oak presence, vanilla, alcohol notes, very ripe fresh cherry and currant, overripe strawberry, vanilla notes, almond notes, minty hints.
Palate is really youthful, grainy harsh oak notes, the ripe fresh cherries stay in the back, vanilla, medium body and finish. Could pass for a modern Rioja -

July 1, 2022 - Tasting of wines of Oregon, Washington State and Finger Lakes, hosted by Tim Syrad Wines, UK. Very dark maroon colour. The nose is spicy, herbal, earthy with subtle fruit, leather. On the palate there's also thyme, herbs and toffee. Good overall.
