Community Tasting Notes 1

May 18, 2023 - Red cherries, barnyard, plums, earth, graphite, blackberries, and a hint of herbs and a hint of new leather on the nose. The barnyard fades over time, and aromas become more focused (though maybe a little less fun). Tart cherries, sweet red cherries, plums, earth, some blood, and herbs on the palate. Mouthwatering acidity, grippy tannins, med-long finish. Wow, this is good. It definitely resembles some of the French country wines that I tasted on a trip long time ago on the first day, and on the second day it's less provincial but still very evocative.
