April 5, 2024 - 1 hour of decanting did this wine just fine. Old world in nature and taste, but riper and more lively than say, Tenuta San Guido’s Guidalberto. Delivers higher value than its worth.

I would say by now it does not need a long decant. Anything over 2 hours and you risk it going flat in 3 or 4 hours. Drink now till 2034

July 19, 2023 - great value bordeaux style wine. nothing complex, but old world style delivers

May 25, 2023 - Opens a bit tight, with a herbal, rustic nose. After about 15 minutes in the glass it begins to blossom with plum, cherry, cassis, leather, cedar - balanced by grippy tannins and bright acidity. It improved over the course of a 90-minute meal, revealing a distinctive Bolgheri flavor profile of dark fruit, earth, tobacco, and licorice. Great with hearty pasta and grilled meats.

February 24, 2023 - Opens young and a bit "grapy". Purple in color and not overly tannin filled, it did open up to reflect a younger Bourdeaux style wine.

I would let this sit for another year or so or heavily decant
