November 16, 2023 - Ruby. Black and red Peppercorn. Nasturtiums. Medium to medium plus body. Macerated fresh strawberry, but not jammy. Almost pinot-noir like. Red plum. Red currants. Very well integrated tannins. Mouthwatering. Very elegant. Very good freshness. Long. Have to say it again: very elegant. Excellent

November 4, 2023 - Minor sediment. Rich red.
Cool climate Shiraz nose. Viognier evident, minor bottle development. Lovely cool climate Shiraz flavours. Viognier lift quite evident. Long. Well structured, flavours on the lighter side. Balanced. Needs time. Very fine.
8 hours simply emphasized its finesse and elegance. A great cool climate Aussie Shiraz that can strut its stuff on the world stage.

August 19, 2023 - Excellent Shiraz. Required aeration but opened after 30min. Dark fruit, chocolate , coffee. All subtle -same for tannins .

June 10, 2023 - My one and only bottle, this is definitely in the Top 3 of my New World Shiraz experiences this year.

Gary Farr has produced a magical bottle here, one which can be enjoyed so young as well as this being so light-footed in the medium body style.

Raspberry and blackcurrant nose greets you, then comes the plum and blackfruit palate with fine tannins.

More fruit forward, with an aggressive but elegant balanced style which is arguably more enjoyable even when compared with my Chapoutier Hermitage Syrah last night!

What a date night.. can't wait to pick-up more bottles of Farr Shiraz!
