February 19, 2024 - At Restaurant Kajazoma, Abidjan: This is a straightforward red Graves for those who value structure over fruit. Moderate tannin, moderate acidity, tightly coiled flavors of graphite and leather. It may unwind a little as it ages, but it is never going to be much more than what it is now, and it is happily drinkable as is. Good value.

March 21, 2023 - Medium-bodied, silky, vibrant and with a nice punch of savory, red fruits and cigar wrapper in the nose and on the palate, this is a superb example of Graves that while it can be enjoyed young, it will also reward a few years of cellaring as well. Drink from 2024-2037.
