June 18, 2022 - Medium dried blood/maroon. Fairly oaky, winey nose, quite savoury. But the palate is fruit forward, attacks with cherry pastille, licorice, herbs. Quite mouthfilling, and fairly long. Some ripe tannins were tamed by a short decant. Lovely.

March 21, 2022 - Really impressed….starting to turn more savory but nice spice rack components underneath rich fruit.
Probably not gonna get better but should be stable for a few more years.

February 4, 2022 - Certainly at the end of its life…or downward path. But not a bad drink today. Pop and pour. Earthly with slightly off balance acid upon opening but with air, fleshed out and developed tasty character. Overall enjoyed the profile of ripe but retrained red and black fruit, spice and oak.

December 18, 2021 - Day 1 this was fully bodied/dense, sweet, with a touch of alcohol poking through…maybe 91, but a little monotonous. Day 3 it came into form…..sweet nose of cassis and cigar box, still full bodied but cassis, dark cherry are more focused, and rocks and herbs are apparent. This has life ahead of it or requires a long decant.

May 15, 2021 - Haha and I did check - someone must agree that it is drinking well - the only sales offer I could find to replace my $50 bottle was $209. Wow.
