Community Tasting Notes 4

February 18, 2024 - Medium intensity aromas of dark fruits with a bit of chocolate. High alcohol, dry, medium(+) acidity and body, medium tannin, and medium(+) intensity flavors of blackberries, blueberries, black Blum, and milk chocolate with subtle earthy/spicy notes. Medium finish. This may be a bit over ripe for my taste, but it has a good QPR and will satisfy those with a taste for high alcohol and near-jammy fruit.

November 1, 2023 - This was my first Australian Shiraz, as I am normally a Rhone fan. The nose on this wine was fun, with strong berry fruit as well as smoke and earth notes that invited pondering. On the palate, the fruit was less prominent, with new notes of milk chocolate, although overall the taste was less impressive than the nose. Overall, an easy drinker and great for the price. Buy it for a BBQ and drink it now.

December 17, 2021 - Inget som sticker ut med till en lammytterfilé med sötpotatis och reduktion med tomat, balsamico och timjan var detta fint. Finns en tanninbas men tror inte på så mycket mer utveckling.
