January 24, 2024 - Retail $30. 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 20% Petit Verdot, 10% Cabernet Franc. Quite dark in color with oodles of dark, spicy fruit (blackberry, cassis, plum) in the glass. The palate is equally alluring with rich fruit, balancing acidity, and a touch of forest floor. Even almost five years out this seems a bit young still as there are noticeable albeit silky tannins on the lengthy finish. Could use another 3-5 years of cellar time, easily. Excellent now, 92 Points.

July 28, 2023 - Terrific QPR <$30. Tannins are already softening nicely, with varietal fruit accessible, as Sapaio continues to consistently produce excellent Bordeaux blends in Bolgheri (I like to think of it as Italianized Napa blends or Napa-like Tuscan blends - which I enjoy either way).

February 15, 2023 - enjoyable super tuscan, restaurant purchase. smooth, integrated, medium body. sweet fruits, mild tannins. some iron ore, but not off putting like some Italian reds.

July 26, 2022 - I agree with other reviews. My first impression just out of the bottle was of high quality and potential. But after 30 minutes it still had not opened up. Im guessing this could be stored for 15 years even. Texture is so beautiful!
