October 12, 2020 - I took this bottle to Jim Lesters property for him to try. No formal notes but this was still drinking very well and shown better than the last time I had it. Dry, rich and full bodied with less petrol than I expected. 92 points.

Some Botrytis I expected leaner but nicely balanced from a refreshing and Saline acidity. 94
October 25, 2019 - Georg Breuer - Double vertical Schlossberg / Nonnenberg 1996-2008 (Weingut Georg Breuer, Rüdesheim, Germany): Glass: Stölzle White
All wines (except where noted otherwise) where double decanted about 7-10h before tasting.
Medium golden color. Clean, deep nose with a smokiness I would usually find in the Schlossberg.
Wonderful tension, stony mineral notes, precise and lean with a beautiful length. 93
March 21, 2015 - Riesling aromas with petroleum in addition to caramel and roses. Rich and concentrated. A bit short finish.
January 8, 2014 - Opened at an offline with R2D2 last weekend. I was not as enthralled with this bottle as the last one I opened in 2007. Tasted much older than I would expect (even for a 15 year old Riesling). Medium yellow color with a hint of amber. Much lower acidity than the last bottle. petrol aromas. Rich with notes of apricots and almonds. This is a dry Riesling from a grand cru vineyard. 87 points.
October 11, 2013 - Classic Riesling nose. Ripe apple, honey, diving suit and some dried herbs as well. Well developed with a petroleum factor of 50% - too much for my current taste.
Dry/off-dry, powerful palate, acid long and fantastic but lacking a bit in fruit flavor. good finish and length.
It's a good wine now, but could have tasted better 2-3 years ago. Not as perfectly clean palate as Schlossberg from the same producer and year.

February 11, 2011 - Åpnet og helt på smal decanter ca 10 timer før konsumering. Ved åpning, litt fet, slapp frukt og skuffende lite syre, forventning om at vinen strammer seg opp ved lufting. Ved konsumering på kvelden hadde vinen strammet seg betydelig opp; mineralsk m/ noe innslag av petroleum, fersken og sitrus. I munnen freheves dette, syrerik vin m/ grønne epler, fersken/ aprikos, mineralitet. Perfekt match til sushi fra Alex Sushi. Neste flaske skal få noen år til i skapet

July 4, 2009 - This one seemed to be more advanced in its aging curve and it was time to drink it.
I will not wait too long to drink my last bottle.
