  November 14, 2023 - Not much fruit on the nose but thyme and flowers and blackberries. Medium tannin. Very tasty but softer and less intense than Napa cabs and less forest floor than Bordeaux. Not a ton of depth but smooth and integrated. Really like it. Some toasted marshmallow when I revisited a little later.

  September 5, 2023 - What a terrific example of a Paso Cabernet Sauvignon. While probably young the flavors are nicely integrated. Black fruit, medium tannins , a solid earth presence, spice, there is a lot of good stuff going on with this wine. Sorry we only have one more bottle.

  September 2, 2023 - Opened and poured through an aerator. Probably should have decanted for several hours. Tannins still present. Nice bouquet, but can still smell the tightness.The finish is long but a little dry and harsh.

  November 4, 2022 - Little early and tight, but classic Daou silky tannins, but still with great acidity balance. Black plums, cassis, sage, cedar/tobacco, and great oak aging. Wish I waited few years but good nonetheless.
