January 31, 2023 - Thought this was really nice for the price. Went great with our Goat Cheese Fennel Sausage pizza on the smoker. A bit of cherry, smokey, and tar on the nose. Sour Cherry and stewed fruit on the bud. Nice finish.

A: pale ruby- other have garnet
N:medium + nose of smoke or maybe cigar, earth, cherry, strawberry, red currants, liquorice, clove, hibiscus leaves tea
P:Dry, high (other says med+), medium soft tannins, medium alcohol, medium body, medium + intensity and finish . very good quality

    Guesses:
lots of red fruit, earth and hazy so I assumed whole cluster. Pinot Noir - village level Burgundy

    Mistakes:
Should have gone with my assertion of high acidity. I would not have pegged the wine as Beaujolais and I have moved towards PN
Steph said her First impressions were Burnt cinnamon and candied nature which is typical for gamay.

April 30, 2019 - Bright red fruit with cherry flavors with good acidity. Delicious wine.

February 14, 2019 - Soft ruby violet; a touch reticent at first but opens nicely with 30 minutes of air, more reminiscent of red Burgundy than grapes Beaujolais, I am confident there’s no carbonic here, pretty floral and fruit components mixing red and dark, spice from some cluster gives this a savoriness, subtle herb edge, a very nice freshness and coolness to it; sweet juicy fruit and fresh texture on the palate, definitely a high toned and more Pinot-like example of cru Beaujolais, silky texture with decent weight in the mid but a lighter style, firm acid edge and restrained alcohol this is incredibly easy to drink and enjoy, tasty with salmon.

October 4, 2018 - Monthly Kermit Lynch tasting at Wine Wizards (Wine Wizards Stockton): Way too rustic stinky tonight. Reminds of a hair permanent, and sweaty horse. Opened two bottles both were similar.
