January 15, 2012 - Superb gentle with lots of fruit. Brownish color andno sharp edges

March 24, 2010 - Hints of chocolate on the nose and on the palate which one of the things I love about Melipal Malbec. Licorice. Cherry tannins and just a bit of mint. This 2004 is probably approaching the end of its cellaring viability and would not have kept much longer.

September 23, 2007 - Very even, full and fruity nose.Fairly young and though on the palate but mouthfilling at the same time. Could use more cellar time.

May 4, 2007 - Well made Malbec with blackberry, black currant, spice and a hint of mint aromas/flavors. Angular, chewy tannins help balance the fruit and add complexity. A touch of cocoa on the lingering finish.

March 15, 2007 - Nice wine, blast off plum and blackberry, very dark color, dense medium body, the palate pumps fig, mineral and spice all the way through its finish. I like even more when it cost around $ 11.00. Great qpr.
