March 24, 2024 - Delicious - great expression of the region for a reasonable price. Really loved the red fruit on the palate - drinking great right now.

April 27, 2023 - Lovely purple colour in the glass. Soft cherry nose. Palate - simple, light bodied, light cherry, raspberry and moreish red fruit. A Beaujolais producer name I look for signalling, for me, reliability and great quality.

April 6, 2023 - Amazing nose of cinnamon, spice and vanilla, very aromatic. Wonderfully light and delicate wine, no tannins to speak of, light cherry and raspberry on the palette, light mouthfeel and short finish.

    Good quality wine.

Beaujolais is usually Beaujolais. This is a villages wine which has a fabulous quality and fresh forward, red berry fruit.
Intensity is pale ruby with a a nose and palate of very fresh red cherries, raspberries, cranberries etc, light tannins and a short to medium finish.

This is a light bodied, acidic dry wine, which is easily coifed with food, or not. Cooled, or not.

This is a good wine. And yes, I would buy more, but only if this producers Cru de Beaujolais' weren't available. They're obviously better wines, and the extra cost isn't exorbitant.

No sulfur on this occasion, as others have indicated.

    PS- Drink the rainbow!

July 31, 2022 - This was delicious. Nearly as good as the Morgon. Will be reloading on this producer.
