Community Tasting Notes 3

September 20, 2022 - Medium ruby/ purple color with minimal rim clearing
Medium aromas of ripe and dried red/ black cherry with leather and faint dark florals
Medium bodied with rather simple palate of fresh red fruit
Medium plus to high acidity and moderate supple tannins - medium alcohol and average finish
No complaints here other than being a little lacking in complexity - might improve with some bottle time?
Drink now or next 5-6 yrs

March 19, 2022 - I opened this bottle an hour or two ago. It is a nicely priced Barbara and it seems to have some complexity for its level. Nice berry fruit, dusty cherries, a little sour cherry, modest tannins, plus there is a roundness to the medium finish.
