June 19, 2022 - Somber kersenrood, dunne meniscus, gekleurde tranen.
Med intens, zwart fruit, donkere kers en bosvruchten, mineraal, zwarte en blauwe bes, kokos, tabak en kleine kruiden.
Sappig en gebald in aanzet, met goede zuurstructuur. Tannines zacht maar aanwezig. Donker en zwart fruit, hier minder gestoofde indruk. Lichte warmte.
Aangenaam en vrij complex mondgevoel Korreligheid, geschakeerd.
Afdronk lang en ook geschakeerd. Fruit, kruiden, wat hout (karamel), etherisch. -

March 30, 2022 - Smooth, bright red fruit. Soft floral nose. A good barbera but because of its high acid, it really needs to be paired with food, tonight with mushroom stir fry.

March 12, 2022 - Small tasting pour. Very floral nose with nice red fruit and minerality. Good texture/mouthfeel. One of the more structured Barbara’s I have had. Good acidity. Long finish. Somewhat meaty and earthy but super clean especially the last few drops after some air. Seemed to have more depth than the vast majority of Barbara’s I have had. I would say this rivals the top Barbara’s from the upper echelon of Piemonte in a traditional style and for a much more reasonable price.

Intens rood fruit, kers, bessen, framboos, beetje munt, witte peper, klein beetje hout, tabak.
Gul sappig fruit, met kersen en bramen, goede zuren, zoet fruit in balans, tannines nagenoeg versmolten, enkel in afdronk wat bitters daarvan. Mondvullend, lekker.
Afdronk met fijn bittertje en zwart fruit.
