October 19, 2023 - After reading the previous TN, I feel compelled to take the time to write on this. Bought it to fill out a mixed case ($14 and change). As I drink it, this is a nice, pleasurable Aglianico. Dark ruby color, pleasing nose, good cherry/leather fruit, softer on the palate you'd expect from this varietal, with still a bit of its inherent structure. No fading here from one glass to the next. A refreshing alternative to the many tannic versions that rip your face off. Won't win any awards, but an enjoyable during the week calzone wine. What's wrong with that for sub-$15?
