March 19, 2024 - Very ripe - dense, candied black cherry and berry. Very much in the house style- supple and satiny, beautiful fruit density, clean and long. The structure is balanced, but wears its power lightly. I like the lifted nature of this wine. Only in the earliest sense of maturity, but a delicious wine.

February 7, 2023 - Second half of the last bottle ( drunk too warm, at room temperature, rather than a cooler 12 dgrees C. As a result the ripe, sweet and alcoholic character if the vintage came through in a slightly flabby manner. On the plus side, the richness amd beautiful quality of the fruit was as present as ever. The tannic structure is really well judged - this is a forward wine that will age well. It will always have a rich, ripe, amd expressive personality

February 5, 2023 - Rich (14%) and ripe. Deep black cherry kirsch nose and palate, with plenty of beetroot, earth and leather. Essence of Central Otago in a ripe and powerful year. Supple and forward, but this has depth.Super wine!

July 23, 2022 - Round, ripe and forward. Very stylish, in a ripe, easy to understand style. Very fine.

March 14, 2022 - Modern, intense, and ripe. Very Central Otago in style, with a well-framed, but soft tannic structure. Very nice whole-bunch character adds considerable complexity and definition. Drinks very well now, but will age well. Very nice example of a forward and fruity 2019. Alc 14% pH 3.61 TA 5.4 New French Oak 29% Whole Bunch 24%
