  July 2, 2006 - Lovely coloring and sparkle, with powerful petroleum notes on the nose, followed by good apple and citrus fruits on the palate. A slightly clipped finish, but as a summer sipper, excellent value.

  January 26, 2005 - Dominant aromas of petrol. Slate and minerals dominate the palate and hide whatever fruit flavours the wine might hope to reveal. However, for the price, a nice contrast with spicy Thai red curry. The crisp acidity and medium weight stood up well to the heat and spiciness of the food. Nothing special, but for a Wednesday night on a student budget, sufficient.

  November 17, 2004 - $5 at Grocery Outlet, 12.5%. Screwcap. Dominant impression is of plastic/petrol. A little better with air, medium to light bodied, dry but not austere, however almost fruitless. Firm acid. Drink now if you've got 'em. Good.
