Community Tasting Notes 9

March 8, 2023 - Nicely done for a screw cap. Dinner at Dametra. Clearly an entry-level Rhone blend, with a light straw hue, light nutty aromas and an orange zest with marzipan palate. A whisper of a finish. Beautiful with tonight’s halibut. Drink now. Worth Seeking Out considering its QPR.

July 9, 2022 - Nice white blend. Minerality, lemon peel, honeysuckle, grapefruit, and nectarine. Light gold in the glass with soft nose of gooseberry and lemon peel. Excellent QPR at $10 a bottle. Good everyday sipper. Would repurchase.

June 21, 2022 - Belleruche translates to "beautiful beehive" in French, a name derived from the beehives installed in the sustainable and biodynamic vineyards of M. Chapoutier.

Grenache blanc, Roussanne, Viognier, Clairette and Bourboulenc.
    _____________

    Color: Lt-med straw.

Nose: Moderately intense, slightly vague, honeysuckle, and yellow plum. But pretty.

Pal: Medium body. Even better here. Sweet honeysuckle fruit with crisp snappy acidity. Dry. 14.0% alc.

Fresh. Delicious. A lot of wine for the price. And authentic of its place.

    88-90 pts.
