July 2, 2023 - Aged beautifully for over a decade and a half !! Still delicious with mature fruit flavors, not past peak yet !!
Perfect cork barely saturated but dry once you get through the hard "wax", used the wax cracker then easily removed with the Durand. Consumed over three days, vac u vin and refrigerated. Nice dark honey color, clarity excellent, no unexpected oxidation. Aromas of apricot, apple pie, honeysuckle, and pear; soft flavors of apricot, pear, lichee, buttered toast, and caramel with a long crisp honeysuckle finish. This is nicely balanced Chardonnay with zippy acidity is from Rancho Santa Rosa in the Santa Rita Hills and made from a selection of clones 4 and 76. This wine has demonstrated great agebillity in the cellar for over a decade, maybe two if properly cellared. There are no bottles of this vintage remaining in my cellar. Good fruit and great winemaking from Greg Brewer.

August 30, 2015 - Good chard. Little to much oak influence. little hot. But still a nice drink. The table liked the wine more then me.

January 25, 2015 - This producer has been a disappointment for me. Like many people, I got swept up in the hype and bought without tasting first. But I have yet to be impressed with their wine. This wine displays notes of ripe pineapple, hazelnut, and kiwi, but it is unfortunately marred by way too much alcohol and a very bitter finish. Tastes overdone to me. For the price, I was expecting more.

August 3, 2014 - Sweet, waxy, and full of tropical fruits and oak.

May 23, 2014 - Lots of sweet oak and lemon oil on the nose. The palate was packed with sweet lemons and limes, and there was a big dose of oak. I could see this turning off a lot of people, but I can be a sucker for an oaky chard. Bordered on being too sweet, though.
