April 15, 2019 - Another bottle appeared in the cellar. Quite young and rich. Lots of life. Good acidity.

July 8, 2013 - ok.. but not much more...

July 1, 2013 - On first opening, it seemed like an austere, mineralic and highly acidic Northern Rhone wine, with black olive as the only possible "fruit" that one might identify. However, with a little air, some chemical and more sour flavors appeared (likely microbial bloom, but at least the smells and flavors of vitamin pills and some commercial cereal "spray-on vitamins"...) Not drinkable, ultimately.

March 5, 2012 - Popped and poured. Tight, thin and vinegary at first, it opens up over time. Bayer children's aspirin aroma with a slight whiff of the barnyard. Cassis and black pepper flavors, with a leather lemon finish. I suspect that this has lost some of its primary fruit, but what remains is good, especially for the acid tolerant. Having said that, the best days are likely in the past and it's time to drink up.

Day 2: Aromas add vegetal elements. Finish is not as tart and has picked up some nice chalk flavors. I like day 2 even better than day one, but it is still for acid and funk lovers only

June 29, 2010 - On first opening, nose seemed ok, but bandaid on the palate. Fruit muted. Then subtle TCA poked thru. Not horribly corked, but enough to ruin the wine.
