  October 8, 2023 - 15.5% abv, big wine, Syrah, merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon blend, lots of flavors, smooth tannins and decent acid, a good wine but not an easy drinker, really pleased a Napa cab drinker, $180 on phoenix restaurant wine list but somm brought it down to $150, drank with assorted Italian food, probably would not drink again as not my style.

  April 10, 2023 - Glossy, overextracted, overoaked, alcoholic mess. All of that is a shame because there is some good fruit hiding in there, but the primary impression is sucking on a popsicle stick.

  February 19, 2023 - Dark coloured and dark in fruit. While it starts with red fruity flavours it evolves into black fruity impressions. The 50% merlot is obviously responsible for the dark cherry and really apparent black plum notes. This is very well made, with all fruit at the correct ripeness, assuring a correct balance. Tannins are well integrated and acids are certainly not dominating. Dry herbs and a spicy note (cloves) are noticeable as well. Towards the finish the high alcohol content (15.5%), takes over, yielding a kirsh brandy impression, a tad much for me.
