April 19, 2014 - Pulled this out after seeing it on the 'drink soon' list on Cellar Tracker. Was pleasantly surprised at the depth it has gained over the years. Still lots of Dundee red fruit but accompanied now by some earth, forest floor, and spice. The acids have mellowed and the wine has taken on a more silky mouthfeel. Very well made.

September 26, 2012 - Lots of minerals. Seemed very approachable. Floral nose. Light and bright colors. Bright red berry taste and light bodied. Long but uneventful finish.

No formal notes. Nice wine. From magnum. Pop and pour and it was nice out of the bottle. Didn't last long. Crowd loved it.
    Would buy again.

April 17, 2011 - Surprisingly hard to enjoy this. Pomegranate, cranberry, cherry with some spice and a slight prickle on the palate. Finish drops off rather quickly, introduces some heat, and steers toward notes of orange bitters which is never impressive.

March 26, 2011 - consistent tasting / rating but i had several really good pinots over the last few days and i may have slid this down a point or two from earlier. Great balance and structure .... but it's time to drink now; i can't see this last at this level too many more years no matter how well you cellar this wine.
