  March 29, 2024 - Decanted with much & coarse sediment, definitely needs to breathe as stated by others, just over an hour and still needs air! At 90 minutes, fruit is emerging and wine is large but still showing tightness. Interestingly, we evacuated and opened the next evening - it was in great shape and finished opening. Fun lesson.

  February 5, 2022 - Started drinking after a 1 hour decant, should probably have been two based on how it progressed while drinking Initially just a fruit bomb with major cocoa nuances the tannins and balance increased. I think another 2-3 years should help the overall balance but it’s definitely drinkable now.
