March 20, 2023 - 15m French oak with 40% new. Decanted 45m. The Kobau vineyard use to produce syrah under the C.C. Jentsch label.

Blueberry, dark chocolate, tobacco, plum, violet, asphalt, hint of meatyness.

May 14, 2022 - Aging potential is 8-10 years. Deep purple colour. Nose is much more forward. Wine needs time to open. Sharp on the mouth initially. Drink with high fat foods as it mellows the wine.
