March 13, 2019 - Whyne Not? (Rocknroller's (Kevin & Vicki's Place)): Medium gold color. PNP, from 375ml, drank a glass over 45 minutes. The nose is bright with orange zest, peach, caramelized, honey, spice. The palate offers apricot, orange peel, spices, honeyed texture, spice, orange cream, hints of vanilla bean and pineapple. This has a lovely balance and good vigor. Delicious and in good spot. 92+ to 93pts.

December 1, 2018 - A lot of botrytis on the nose, ripe, sweet nose with some citrus characters, and candlewax. Palate is honeyed, with peach, and a nice caramel on the finish. Finish is decent with a bit of spice and an echo-ing of honey+caramel. Perhaps I would have liked a bit more acidity to balance the high level of sweetness but nevertheless in the context of the vintage and the price paid for this bottle I think this was very good value.

November 30, 2018 - Pale gold with maybe a little less heft than expected. Dried apricot, toasted honey, orange peel and maybe a waft of something close to nutmeg or even white pepper.

I really wanted a touch more, but I will definitely revisit.

November 18, 2018 - A truly remarkable wine. Lemon, citrus, marmalade on the nose with similar flavors. Great acidity with a long finish. Tasted next to a 1998 Château Rieussec and as good as that wine is, it blew it away.
