August 4, 2018 - Really vibrant and punchy wine with a nose of red fruits, balsamic, menthol and truffle. It is amply fruited, with rich flavours of fruit, flora and earth. It has great presence and a finish that has crunch and persistence. Absolutely delicious now but plenty in the tank for further development.

September 27, 2014 - Decanted. Improved over the next two hours. At first needed some time to integrate. Clearly past its prime, but became very enjoyable example of old-style barolo. Interesting sweetness developed around the edges.
