November 16, 2022 - This was a very odd-tasting Zin. It was very bitter. Not the usual Lodi scrumtiousness. It wasn’t corked, or stored improperly. No bold fruit. No in-your-face luscious texture normally associated with Lodi. Very disappointing.

June 12, 2022 - Nose was a bit muted. Bramble and dark fruits on palate but harsh tannin/acid/alcohol flavor that I find too often in Zinfandel. Lessened a bit by day 3, but still not a big fan. Maybe Zin is not for me

December 17, 2021 - Medium-deep garnet in color. Full, forward & attractive nose of ripe fruit aromas of cherries, blueberries & plums with overtones of earthy/dusty & spice notes, herbs, cocoa & minerals in the background. Medium bodied with a very good concentration of well balanced & smooth textured, ripe fruit flavors of cherries, blueberries & plums with spices, herbs & minerals. Lingering finish. Drinks quite well at present with decanting & extended airing but may develop further with additional aging at which time it may merit a higher score.
