March 9, 2024 - I see the potential here, but it wasn't quite ready for my tastes. The nose took a bit to open and revealed lovely ripe red berry fruits, lots of baking spice, and some floral notes. Continues to freshen on the nose throughout the evening. The palate is good, but shows a bit too much wood currently; the wood spice and tannin are not quite fully integrated and while I have little doubt the fruit will absorb this, it just needs a few more years to make it happen. Would hold for 3-5.

December 28, 2023 - Amazing and WOTN among all the dinner guests. Red cherries and strawberries dominate, with some spices complicating the finish.

January 10, 2023 - A bit more insipid and acidic than my tastes. Pale orange reddish, light bodied. Opened in the glass to reveal cranberry and tea leaf flavors and settled down somewhat.
