February 4, 2024 - This one has fallen off a bit. Stone fruit, a bit ash and mineral. Fuller bodied. Not as fresh, but still nice. Still very good QPR

June 20, 2023 - Quite dark in colour, really deep gold in colour. Nose is pretty ripe and interesting. Palate is juicy, but also with some roundness and body. Hints of peach and apricot with some apple and peach notes on the finish.

November 27, 2022 - Flamboyant smells and flavors of lemon pie, flowers, honey, brown sugar, caramel (yes, this is a dry wine), minerals, poached Bartlett pears, and zucchini, followed by a long, spicy aftertaste. This is a wine with a big and very attractive personality. (Tasted from the Jancis Robinson glass.)

and finally a wine that pairs well w Paolo's lasagna. Golden yellow, and high alcohol that fortunately doesn't poke out. Stone fruit flavors dominate, similar in style to s. rhone but somewhat different flavors. Good even on its own. Too bad about the 14.5% though: easy to overdo and end up w a hangover., Very good, viscousWho Likes This Wine
