November 19, 2022 - VERY AROMATIC AND FULL OF VERY WELL TASTE.

June 3, 2022 - Medium ruby colored. Lots of red and dark berries in the nose. On the palate blueberries, cooked plum, sour cherries, blackberries, sweet tobacco and some vanilla. Medium (+) bodied with a medium acidity. Tannins are silky and nicely integrated. Medium complexity and depth. Fruit driven structure, feels a little one sided. Ok balance, missing some more complexity. Medium long and savory finish.
An interesting wine but not outstanding.
It feels quite young and has definitely some more good years ahead but I don’t think it’s made for the long run. Drink from now until 2027. (IG)

March 9, 2022 - Tastes like quality, but the new oak is so tainting this with vanilla, that I'm seriously regretting the purchase.
    Why?
Grapes not good enough that you gotta slather it with a vanilla syrup?
New oak is to grape juice like BBQ sauce for questionable meat.
If you've got a $100/oz Wagu ribeye are you gonna put BBQ sauce on it?
Maybe some Americans would put ketchup on it. I know some of those guys, but they are not drinking anything more expensive that PBR or Bud Light.

I don't know, I hate to be this down about such an ancient terroir, 3000 years old in Argos, but I have to be real about my experience.
It's not the producer's fault that I bought this, as at K&L all of the Greek wine I've previously purchased have been old school style. My bad for assuming their buyer would bring this in. I'll have to check with the great experts behind the counter next time.

If you love new oak with a big black fine wine, then this is your bottle.

On a positive note, wine of this quality from Sonoma/Napa would go for triple price easy, so for the taste it is a good value.
