Community Tasting Notes 7

January 21, 2023 - Medium ruby color. Aromas of cherries, clove and a bit of vanilla on an expressive nose. Medium body. Medium acid. Smoothed tannins. Jammy red fruit and tart black cherry flavors with some minerals on the finish. At $17 QPR is decent for an everyday Pinot. Definitely a more fruity CA Pinot.

January 9, 2023 - Second day. The alcohol kick burned off a little, but is still there. The flavor however is still a mess. It's almost difficult to tell you're drinking a PN. Not pleasant. I don't know why anyone would buy this wine. I noticed they make a number of PN bolltlings. Why don't they just bottle what they can make that tastes good?

January 8, 2023 - Very commercial tasting with an alcohol burn. No finesse whatsoever. It's like being hit right in the face with a glass of wine. If this calms down tomorrow, I'll report back again.

December 21, 2022 - For the price hard to beat--not complex, but hits all the proper SBC Pinot notes, yummy cherry and some spice.
