January 31, 2020 - I honestly cannot believe this wine is not just drinkable at this advanced age, but truly enjoyable. Brown rim quickly improved with a few minutes of air. No particular tannins. Tiny bit of tar. tight finish on open with no funk evident. Cherry and a little blackberry. This bottle has been laying down forgotten in the back of a closet for 19 years under less than ideal storage conditions.

May 13, 2003 - Light cherry red, clear and bright. Red fruits, cherries and unripe redcurrants- very nice!. Med body, light tannin. Good attack, and fruit. Med-long length. A perfect sancerre. VG+

July 9, 2001 - Wine Education Service - The Loire Valley: Lightish red.
An interesting nose, compost, strawberries and mushrooms.
Bitter, aggressive, still young, will soften.
