July 26, 2022 - Pale straw colour. Fairly sweet-tones nose has components of yellow apple, honeysuckle and ripe apricots. Nose replicated in the taste along with tangerine peel and metallic minerality. Medium-light body, medium high acid, fairly high alcohol. VG

July 20, 2022 - I just tasted this against a freshly opened white Bourgogne. The similarity was striking. The Steelbird had been opened for several days and kept under screwcap in the fridge. I’ll try this again with 2 freshly opened bottles. The main differences I noticed was a trace of sulfur dioxide in the French, which soon blew off, and the slightly more tart finish of the French. A fun tasting! Both were 2020 wines.

June 1, 2022 - The wine seems dry, but has a very nice almost sweet finish.
