September 9, 2023 - Nice blend with plenty of cherry and berries on the note. Round and balanced, oak and vanilla, paired well with Gruyère.

April 13, 2023 - Pleasant wine. High QPR. Popped and poured. After 30 minutes or so, the wine began to resolve itself. Almost bright ruby color. Nose of big black fruits, smokey mocha notes and a hint of vanilla bean. Low acidity, the high ABV is well-integrated. Medium-bodied. Tart black cherry fruit on the palate, graphite and dried leather notes. Short velvety finish. A food-friendly new-world wine. Have to think there is some Petite Syrah in the blend. May improve with a few more years of age.

June 14, 2022 - On the nose- Big dark fruits, dark blackberries, dark blueberries, dark cherries, cassis, dark ripe currants, milk chocolate, graphite, baking spices, cigar box spice, oak, vanilla, nutmeg

On the palate- Big dark fruits and dark blackberries, dark blueberries and dark cherries, cassis and dark ripe currants, milk chocolate and graphite, baking spices and cigar box spice, oak and vanilla with a hint of nutmeg. This wine is drinking KILLER now but I gave it an hour of decant time to really open up and show its stuff and it really needed it being super young. I see this wine lasting another 7-10 years easy with no problem at all.
