December 27, 2022 - Bright red fruits (strawberry/cranberry), high acid (almost a touch of VA)…but super quaffable, fun wine. Likes this more than the 2018.

May 13, 2022 - Cherry and some modest oak on the nose. Dry. Lacking acidety. Light and un-eventful. Feels unbalanced, and almost sour. Red berries on the palate. Ok, but not much more.

April 29, 2022 - Only had a glass and then recorked for tomorrow. Bright purplish ruby color. A bit primary on the nose at this point with some juicy black cherry and plum and a touch of spice. Good acidity. Medium tannin. I think this wine could use a little time even though it's enjoyable now.

Day 2 - wine seemed more open and less sharp on the palate so that tells me some additional bottle time or decanting if drinking now would show best

March 6, 2022 - Pretty, indeed! This is a light wine with a lot of depth, great for drinking now, at a very attractive price for the quality.

January 1, 2022 - Decanted for 90 minutes, this still showed a bit of prickly acidity, so I gave it another hour which settled things down. Dusty red cherry, new leather, rose petal and a finishing touch of mossy earth rode along a wave of brightness, refreshing with each sip. The Tempranillo base (67%) provided all the bass and the Graciano and Garnacha brought freshness and a bounce to the fruit. I put it up against a difficult opponent of a Thai/Indian fried rice dish, and it took every punch as a challenge. Hell of a deal for $28.
