Community Tasting Notes 1

November 8, 2021 - As so young, decanted. Inky black purple to the meniscus. Incredible nose of boysenberry, blueberry jam, with a touch of cinnamon. Quite tannic but that’s to be expected as this young stage. After my mouth unpuckerd, I could get the acidity. In a few years this will be one mighty fine vino but it’s just too young now. Def full bodied at 15.5 but tons of fruit help mitigate that. Long finish with sweet fruit, even a tad of prune/plum. 90 now with much more potential given time.

The above was my note prior to having with food. It paired beautifully with dry rubbed ribs as the right amount of animal fat truly subdued the tannins!
