July 6, 2023 - Quickie taste from J at home. Drank in Gabriel Standart.
Appearance is cloudy, ruby colour with thin watery rim. Thin legs.
Nose not clean, medium+ intensity, with aromas of nice funk, vegetal earth, wild red berries, interesting barley. Developing.
On the palate, dry, medium+ to high acidity, medium- alcohol (12%), medium tannins, medium body. Medium+ flavour intensity, with flavours of earth, leather, funky slight meat, wild strawberries, red and blac cherries, brown stems, hints of cola. Long finish.
Very good quality Cru Bojo with an acceptable level of funk for me. Some serious substance within and not just natural funky for the sake of being so. -
Overlook Likes this wine:
February 18, 2022 - Juicy red fruit, some flowers. Good depth and length on this. A brilliant bojo, will be a joy to follow the next few years.
