September 30, 2023 - A cheerful nose, if not complex. Wonderful texture, a tad hot with pepper overtones. Quite yummy if not elegant. Paired nicely with steaks. 2 hr decant. Wine has softened quite a bit since last year. Left in decanter for 24 hours, wine is now quite a bit smaller in statute, and quite nice; reminiscent of aged CDP. The alcohol is really prominent however. Makes me wonder how the huge alcohol will work down the road.

April 25, 2023 - Same as previous ratings (94) but continues to impress. The depth of fruit and layers of flavor make this so interesting. And still great with pizza. One hour decant and then back in the bottle, consumed over the next 2-3.
